This update contains several quality of life tweaks and bug fixes.
IMPORTANT: Previous versions of Firebot may exhibit unexpected behavior going forward as Mixer has updated their policies on API usage. This version adheres to these new policies. Updating to this version as soon as possible is highly recommended.
Updates
- Previous window location and size is now persisted after app restarts.
- Effects are now numbered making long lists of effects more manageable.
- You can now define an "effect label" for random and effect group effects to make it easier to identify what they do on the root effect list
- File pickers now open up to where the currently selected file is instead of wherever you were last
- Added cooldown option to Update Button effect, which allows you to completely change or reset cooldowns
- Added the overlay instance picker to the Play Sound effect when the global audio output setting is set to "Send to overlay"
- Inactive hotkeys are now gray
- Updated calls to Mixer API to adhere to updated policies
- Pass trigger metadata to custom scripts
- this means textbox values are available directly in custom scripts
Bug fixes
- If the button text is only spaces, the ID is shown properly in grid view
- The box around the text for the Show Text effect properly sizes
- Fixed the $(subMonths) variable
- Fixes an issue that caused the $(readFile) and $(readRandomLine) variables to fail if there was a space in the path
- Properly save effect list when the "delete all effects" button is used
- Potential fix for those having issues with sparks not getting charged to viewers
