This update contains a bunch of improvements to the chat feed, fixes a ton of bugs, and adds improved logging so we can better help you in the future.
NOTE: v4.10.1 fixes issues loading boards for users who originally updated to v4.10.0 and had issues with that.
New Features
- Chat Feed Improvements
- URLs are now clickable
- Whispers to the bot account are now shown
- A new Message Actions popup when you click on a username or user avatar in chat
- allows you to quickly timeout, ban, message, etc, just like on native Mixer chat.
- Messages where you are tagged are now bolded
- Option to play a sound when tagged
- Support for the /r command
- Press the up and down arrows to cycle through previously sent commands/messages
- New "Show Text" Effect
- Allows you to send customizable text to the overlay
- New "List Commands" Effect
- Put this effect on a command to have it whisper the user a list of available commands.
- Allows you to create a "!commands" command.
- Individual Permissions
- You can now restrict buttons/commands to a single individual
- Useful for a sub button
- Manually Trigger Events for testing.
- Added a ton of chat and interactive events to the Events area.
- Added Password parameter type for custom scripts.
- Overhauled our logging System
- This will allow us to much better help you in the future!
Changes
- Separate Streamer and Channel Editor permission roles
- Previously these were both wrapped under the Mod role.
- Newline characters (\n) are now supported for the Write Text To File effect
- $(game) variable is now replaced with "[API ERROR]" when an error occurs
- IE when the user has no game set.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug affecting some users that would wipe all button effects when the board was updated on the Dev Lab.
- Resolved a bug preventing scenes from being properly removed when deleted in the Dev Lab.
- Fixed a bug preventing deleted Joysticks from being removed.
- Fixed typos with a couple replace variables in the variable list.
- Resolved a bug that allowed a deleted command in a timed command group to continue to display.
- Resolved a bug that prevented the "Write Text To File" effect from being used in Custom Scripts.
- The correct effect trigger type is now passed with Custom Scripts.
