Major Themes

Crossplane v0.5.0 is our first monthly release! Expect to see a new release of Crossplane around this time each month going forward. This release continues v0.4.0's focus on quality and stability.

Notable Updates

• Introduction of v1beta1 versions for Azure Redis, PostgreSQLServer, and MySQLServer.
• KubernetesCluster resource claims (and all managed resources that may bind to KubernetesCluster) now expose a rendered kubeconfig file in their connection secret.
• Improve documentation, including a guide to using Crossplane with ArgoCD.
• Several crossplane-runtime bug fixes, including improving the reliability of resource claim scheduling and managed resource deletion.
• A KubernetesApplication will now only be scheduled to KubernetesClusters in its own namespace.

Breaking Changes

The v1alpha3 Azure Redis, PostgreSQLServer, and MySQLServer resources have been removed and are superseded by their new v1beta1 equivalents. There are no other known breaking changes or deprecations in this release.
