Spotifast 0.13.3 strengthens sign-in, cover art downloads, MilkDrop preset loading and playback connections. It keeps tokens and credentials out of debug logs and makes playback's push connection use your configured proxy.
Download Spotifast: Mac · Windows · Windows ARM · Linux · Linux ARM · Flatpak · AppImage · AppImage ARM
On Windows, pick the .msi. The setup program (-setup.exe) is still attached so that installs from 0.12.0 and earlier can update through it.
Fixed
- Sign-in no longer gets held up by another program on your computer. The local sign-in listener now limits how long it waits for each connection and how much it reads. By @crmne.
- MilkDrop preset packs stay inside the presets folder. Pack entries must name a single
.milkfile, including on Windows. By @crmne. - Oversized cover art is refused during download. Downloads are limited as they arrive, and stored zip entries must match their declared size. By @crmne.
- MilkDrop rejects presets with overly long shader identifiers. Spotifast carries a projectM fix that prevents overly long identifiers from corrupting memory. By @crmne; thanks @kblaschke. (projectM #1049)
- Tokens and credentials stay out of debug logs, even at trace level. Spotifast carries the fix in librespot until it is released upstream. By @crmne. (librespot #1806)
- Playback's push connection uses your configured proxy. Spotifast carries the librespot proxy fix by @photovoltex. (librespot #1665)
- Malformed network handshakes no longer crash playback. Spotifast carries a librespot fix that rejects oversized handshake packets. By @crmne. (librespot #1807)
