New features
- AWS Integration: Coroot can now discover Amazon RDS and ElastiCache instances and instrument them with the relevant metric exporters automatically.
- Simplified Database Monitoring: You no longer need to install and configure metric exporters for your databases. Coroot automatically discovers and instruments them. Supported databases include PostgreSQL, MySQL, Memcached, Redis, and MongoDB.
- MySQL Monitoring: Coroot now supports monitoring for MySQL databases.
- Memcached Monitoring: Coroot now supports monitoring for Memcached instances.
- External Calls Tracing: Coroot now traces outbound connections to both internal and external destinations and displays their Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs). With this feature, you can easily detect even hidden communications. For example, did you know that your mongodb database most likely sends usage statistics to api.segment.io?
- Application types on Application Health Summary: Coroot now automatically detects the type of each application, including database engines, programming languages, and other popular open-source applications.
