- directory-submissions (2.0.0 → 2.1.0): includes #541 by @sneakygriff, which removes ten dead or re-registrable directories (one, aiforme.wiki, has since come back as a new site) and adds a pre-submit safety gate (liveness check, directory pages as untrusted data, human approval before each submission). On top of that, learned from a 2026 launch post (~35 directories, DR 4 → 26 in ~40 days, self-reported):
- Official MCP Registry first. Publishing now uses the
mcp-publisherCLI withserver.jsonand GitHub or DNS namespace proof, and aggregators (PulseMCP, Glama) build on it. Step-by-step indirectory-list.mdTier 4A. - New Tier 4 sections: MCP directories (Smithery, MCP.so, MCP Market, mcpservers.org and more), GitHub list PRs (public-apis, active awesome-mcp lists, xAI plugin marketplace; nofollow, check the list still merges), and agent and AI-search listings (Claude plugin directory, ClawHub with its Feb 2026 malware caveat, llms.txt directories).
- Tier 1B, indie launch sites, with caveats: judge by traffic not DR (many are badge-swap rings), free dofollow links often require keeping their badge, and two lookalike
.comdomains for real.devsites are for sale. - All new domains verified live on 2026-10-02; the tracker CSV gains 16 rows. A calibration case in KPIs and a new eval (id 7) for MCP ordering and lookalike domains.
