Copy skills now diagnose what they were handed before changing it, adapted with credit from Profound's and Wispr Flow's MIT copy skills.
- copywriting (2.2.0 → 2.3.0): new Diagnose the Situation First section. Blank or slop input gets rebuilt from the brief, a draft with a real voice gets restored in that voice, and a point edit changes only what was asked. It reads taste from the input (vocabulary, emphasis, scope, angle). A drafting protocol adds decompose-and-lock, a three-question gate (can the reader picture it, can it be proven, could a competitor write it), rationed punch, and a leave-it-alone test.
references/ai-tells.mdadds second-generation tells that survive a first cleanup (wisdom-shaped sentences, performed cleverness, perfect balance, omniscient casual, self-narration, tidy closers) and a build-a-writer step, with a rule against inventing anecdotes or customers. Diagnosis mirrored in the description. New eval (id 10). - copy-editing (2.1.1 → 2.2.0): pick the edit mode before editing. A point edit skips the Seven Sweeps, changes only what was asked, and returns just the changed lines with reasons. Detail in
references/checklist.md. Rule mirrored in the description. New eval (id 9).
