This update contains changes to the Firefox and Edge configurations, you can install Just the Browser again to get the latest version. Existing users on other browsers do not need to update, unless the settings are not working.
Configuration settings
- Firefox's built-in VPN is now explicitly allowed, since it's usually disabled when group policies are installed
- Edge is now blocked from asking to import data from other browsers
- Edge will no longer show "Ask Copilot" suggestions in the search bar (#57)
- Edge is now blocked from sharing personalized data for advertising, search, news, Microsoft Edge, and other Microsoft services
- Edge's floating desktop Search Bar is now blocked, since it prevents Edge from fully shutting down on Windows
