Explore Shortcuts

The Enter a World, Studios & Publishers, ROM Hacks, Explore by Launcher, Updates & Events, and Explore the Charts shortcuts at the top of the Explore page now take you directly to their respective sections, even when they are further down the page

Add Multiple Local Games at Once

You can now select multiple .exe files when adding local games, with each file added as a separate game in your library

Playnite Integration

If you use Playnite, you can now browse your entire Playnite library inside Compass, including games you own on Epic Games, EA app, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, and Xbox, even if they are not installed

• Go to Library → All Games → Playnite
• Click Add the extension to Playnite, then restart Playnite once
• Installed games can be launched directly from Compass, while uninstalled games have an Install in Playnite button
• Games already recognized by Compass through Steam or other launchers will not appear twice
• Portable Playnite installations are also supported by selecting the Playnite folder

The extension only reads your library and does not modify anything in Playnite

Epic Games & EA app

The Epic Games and EA app filters in your library now include games from Playnite for the respective store, alongside games installed on your system

Steam Improvements

• Uninstall via Steam: A new button is available on installed game pages to uninstall games, with Steam handling the confirmation
• Friends: See who's online, who's playing, and what they're currently playing
• Wishlist: Browse your Steam Wishlist and save all its games to your saved games with one click

Steam Friends and Wishlist require linking your Steam account from the library

Missing Game Logos

We're still working on fixing missing logos on some game pages. If a game is missing its logo, let us know its name

Compass Branding Refresh

The visual rebranding of Compass is complete, with the compass logo now featured throughout the app

App Icons

All 17 preset icons, including Liquid Glass, Watercolor, Pixel, Blueprint, Anime Ink, and more, have been redesigned with the compass while preserving each icon's unique style

Theme Previews

All theme previews, including Dracula, Nord, Royal, Velvet, and more, now display the Compass logo and name using each theme's font

Animations & Screens

The loader, addon installation screen, Watch Together waiting screen, Voyage, and screensaver featuring the cat on the boat have all been updated to match the new branding

Guides & Tutorials

The TMDB setup guide and other tutorial images have been updated

OG Badge

The OG badge now has its own artwork, featuring an orange medal with a star. It is already live and visible on profiles

Note: If you previously selected a preset app icon, select it again in Settings to get the updated version

The app's visual updates will arrive with the next release, while the OG badge is already available

Compass Account Improvements

Add an Email to Your Account

You can now add an email address to your Compass account from:

Settings → Account → Compass account → Email

• Enter your email address and open the confirmation link
• To change your email, click Change and enter the new address
• Your old email remains active until you confirm the new one

Password Reset by Email

You can now reset your password using your email instead of relying only on your recovery key

On the sign-in screen, select:

Forgot password → Reset by email

30-Day Email Confirmation Deadline

Existing accounts have 30 days to confirm an email address. Compass will remind you and display the exact deadline

If the deadline passes without confirmation, publishing, comments, ratings, friends, and sync will be paused until you confirm your email

Watching content is never affected

New accounts will be asked to add an email during registration

Link Your Discord Account

You can now link your Compass account to Discord from the same account page and automatically join the Compass Discord server

Optional Release News

You can opt in to receive release news by email. This feature is disabled by default and only activates if you choose to subscribe

Privacy

Your email is only used for account confirmation, password resets, and release news if you opt in
