What's new in 0.3.66
- Every installed extension now gets asked, on every title — when you open an episode, Hikari no longer waits for the repo you opened it from to fail before trying the others. It asks every extended source you have installed — other Hikari
.hikiextensions, CloudStream extensions, universal scrapers and Stremio addons — for the same episode at the same time (after a short head-start for the repo you opened from), then merges everything into one server list. So if the server from the repo you opened is dead, a working server from another extension (for example Castle TV) is already waiting in the same list. - You can see where a server came from — servers that came from another extension are labelled with that extension's name (for example
Castle TV · Server 1), so it's clear which repo each server actually belongs to. - Nuvio providers are included too — for any title Hikari can match, the Nuvio providers you have installed are searched alongside everything else, so their servers show up even when you didn't open the title from Nuvio.
- Smarter failover — if a server dies mid-playback, Hikari now goes looking for fresh sources for regular (non-live) streams as well, waits longer for those fresh sources to arrive, and if you tap "Next" while you're already on the last server it jumps straight to an untried fresh server instead of starting over from the top.
- The search no longer stops early — previously a quick reply from one repo could end the search before slower repos had answered; now every repo gets its full chance to contribute servers.
