In the desktop app's restricted modes, the agent's own tools stop asking for approval, and a bash call from an eval cell no longer hangs. Files that ship with the app no longer count as outside paths, the first Python cell after a cold start works on Windows x64, and delegated tasks keep your timeout settings and run at thinking levels their models accept. This release runs on the senpi 2026.10.1-3 engine.

In the desktop app's "Work in this project" and "Ask first" modes, senpi's own internal tools (todo, tool search, ask-user, monitor, memory) no longer ask for approval, reading files that ship inside the app no longer counts as an outside path, and a bash call from an eval cell shows its approval prompt instead of hanging. Real commands, outside reads and outside watches still ask. (senpi#2511, senpi#2513, senpi#2512)
On Windows x64, the first Python cell after a cold start no longer fails with "Python kernel did not become ready": Python eval waits on the kernel's own readiness stages instead of a 5-second deadline and names a stalled stage in the error. This was a known issue in 5.1.8.

On a Claude subscription, a long run survives a lost session whose re-sent conversation is rejected as too long, and images the agent read with a tool are no longer re-sent as new attachments (thanks to @willowite). (senpi#2480, senpi#2490)
A delegated task that runs in-process now keeps your timeout and retry settings, such as retry.provider.streamStartTimeoutMs, instead of the built-in defaults. Thanks to @rhyme227 for the report. (#9353)
Builtin category chains only name thinking levels their models accept, so child sessions no longer flood fallback.log with validation_warning lines and each rung runs at its declared level instead of a silent clamp. Thanks to @markshikada for the report and the byte-compare that pinned it down. (#9378)
On macOS, a repeated permission denial no longer claims the privacy pane was just opened; it points at the pane opened earlier, or tells you to open it when the first attempt failed. (omo-desktop-app#1437)
