5.1.25 was not released: its Linux x64 binaries went over the 150 MiB per-binary size budget during publishing, so no omo-ai, lazycodex-ai, oh-my-opencode or oh-my-openagent 5.1.25 exists. Everything planned for it ships here. Some 5.1.25 platform packages did reach npm and are deprecated; nothing installs them.

omo runs on senpi 2026.10.10-8, which keeps a saved MCP sign-in with the authorization server that issued it. The bundled MCP SDK moves to 1.32.1 (GHSA-6qxp-vccf-f47h), and senpi records which authorization server issued each saved sign-in and refreshes only there. If an MCP server's authorization server changes, you are asked to sign in again instead. MCP servers signed in with very old senpi versions may ask you to sign in again once their access token expires. An MCP HTTP endpoint that redirects to a different origin is no longer followed, and the connect error names both origins and the URL to put in the server's config. A relayed report or a quoted mention no longer turns on ultrawork. A message that opens with a sender header ([REPORT], [a -> b], Name (id) to recipient:), a Markdown block quote, or a double-quoted span is now read as someone else's words, so pasting a report that describes ultrawork into a session no longer arms it there. A skill name inside an identifier, a path, a URL, or a prohibition ("no ultrawork", "do not use mass-ulw") no longer arms ultrawork or a skill pointer either. Typed asks, such as "ulw " or a keyword at the end of your own sentence, still arm. (#9600, #9606, #9738, #9740, #9744)

An opt-in side panel for the Senpi TUI. Set side_panel.enabled: true in omo.json (or pass --omo-side-panel for one run) to get a right-hand column with the session, goal, context, subagents, tools, changed files and memory at a glance; the transcript reflows beside it, and clicking a file row opens its diff. Subscription usage is a separate opt-in (side_panel.sections.usage) because it is the one section that reads credentials. It is off by default and hides itself on terminals narrower than 120 columns. A bundled visualize skill renders inline HTML pages. Charts, tables, diagrams and mockups come back as a self-contained page shown in the session; where the html preview is not available, the skill opens the page file through the browser skill instead. (#9700, #9702)

Arch Linux users can install OmO from the community AUR package omo-bin. The install guide now documents it: yay -S omo-bin (or any AUR helper) installs the official Linux binary from our GitHub releases after checking it against the release's SHA256SUMS. It's maintained by @sTiKyt, not the OmO team, so update it with your AUR helper rather than omo update. (#9584, #9610)

Fixed

The release binary size budget is 160 MiB, and every build reports its headroom. Linux x64 reached 157.6 MB, over the old 150 MiB budget, which stopped 5.1.25. The budget exists to keep each install and update download small; release builds now print each target's headroom and warn when one is within 5 MiB of the budget. (#9760)

A task child spawned with an explicit model runs on that model, or the spawn fails and says why. A pin with a thinking level such as anthropic/claude-opus-5-5:medium used to be dropped silently, so the child ran on the default model instead; the pin is now resolved once against the live model registry, and the child's own reported model is checked after it starts. A model that cannot be resolved, or a child that comes up on a different model, fails the spawn with a typed error, and task_output shows the model the child actually ran next to the one requested. (#9722, #9736)

The planner asks its approval question through the question tool. ulw-plan and mass-ulw ask owner decisions and the plan-approval gate as a real question instead of chat text, and a dismissed or timed-out approval writes no plan. (#9735, #9748)

Delegated task children stay out of ultrawork orchestration. A child spawned to do one piece of work no longer starts orchestrating its own team when its brief mentions ultrawork. Thanks to @Dante-dan. (#9600, #9602)

A process-runner task child gets its own model fallback chain. A child running as a separate process now falls back the same way an in-process child does, and its start never waits on that setup: if the chain is refused or not answered within 10 seconds it warns and sends the prompt anyway. (#9582, #9587)

A suspended task child is revived or ended after its session is resumed. When a resumed session finds a child it could not revive right away, it retries with backoff, and a child that still cannot be revived is marked lost with the last reason and the retry count, so the parent is notified instead of waiting forever. (#9498, #9714)

omo sees every model senpi lists. omo's background check of which models a task child may use read senpi --list-models through a pipe that the engine could close before the whole list arrived, so models late in the list (xAI's, for example) could be refused as unknown. The list is now read from a file. (#9068, #9745)

The slash picker lists each bundled skill once. The bare alias takes the place of its skill:<name> row instead of appearing next to it. (#9648, #9650)

A session started in your home folder no longer migrates .sisyphus into ~/.omo. The legacy workspace migration refuses the home target and never overwrites an existing file, so the OmO desktop's data under ~/.omo/desktop is never touched. (#9727, #9731)

Engine fixes in senpi 2026.10.10-8.

• An Anthropic subscription account blocked by an authentication error recovers on its own when its saved refresh token is still accepted, instead of every request failing with "blocked until re-login". (senpi#2926)

• A long, tool-heavy turn on a small context window, such as Claude Haiku 5.5's 100K, no longer ends with "compaction did not complete": the earlier steps of the turn are summarized and the latest one is kept. (senpi#2925)

• The reasoning effort you pick for Claude Opus 5 / 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Fable 5.1 now reaches Anthropic; it was always sent as high. (senpi#2912)

• A model picked in the terminal applies to that session only instead of silently changing the default; press Ctrl+S in the picker or type /model <id> --default to make it the default. (senpi#2870)

• A fallback model whose context window cannot hold the session no longer ends the fallback; the next model in the chain is tried. (senpi#2894)

• senpi --list-models, --version, --help and --export no longer lose output when their stdout is a slowly read pipe. omo's own model probe was hit by this (fewer models listed than exist). (senpi#2937, senpi#2939)

• An ask_user_question answer is no longer put inside the tool result, where models that treat tool results as untrusted (Claude Haiku 5.5) may ignore it; the answer reaches the model as your own message. (senpi#2920)

• Children that senpi starts from a script no longer re-run a caller that embeds senpi from node -e or bun -e. Thanks to @MoerAI. (senpi#2599, senpi#2950)

• Kimi K3 cache writes on Moonshot's API and in the Kimi Coding estimate are priced at the official $3 per million tokens; they were counted as free. (senpi#2954)

• A config hot reload no longer loops on omo's omo.jsonc. (senpi#2878)

• Paths the OmO desktop moved with its data home are refused with their new location instead of being written to. (senpi#2898)

• Claude Haiku 5.5 is available on Anthropic, Bedrock, OpenCode, OpenRouter, Vercel AI Gateway and Venice, with its own system prompt. (senpi#2892, senpi#2917)
