OMO 5.0.0-beta.45 — engine update: senpi 2026.9.6
A small follow-up to the beta.44 install hotfix: the engine moves from senpi 2026.9.5-3 to 2026.9.6, which carries the compaction and fallback fixes below. No omo-side code changes besides the pin (#7852).
Fixed (via senpi 2026.9.6)
- Long sessions no longer get stuck above the compaction threshold when a retained tool result holds an image. The deterministic compaction fallback rejected any prepared suffix whose tool results carried an image block (
unsafe-retained-content), so after a summarization timeout the session could not compact at all — the "deterministic compaction fallback cannot retain the prepared suffix" loop reported in #6871. Well-formed image blocks are now retained; malformed blocks stay rejected; each candidate's rejection reason is recorded in the diagnostics (code-yeongyu/senpi#1412, reported and reproduced by @ayden94). - Fallback decision logs are back. After the atomic fallback-admission change,
no_chain/candidates_exhaustedstopped being written tofallback.log; they are logged again (code-yeongyu/senpi#1415). - Fallback activation is atomic and fails closed: model-select hooks and context admission complete before anything is persisted or announced, and a fallback model that cannot admit the live context no longer hops through unrelated providers (code-yeongyu/senpi#1413, #1411).
- Claude SDK OAuth: early terminal results and replay failure attribution are preserved (code-yeongyu/senpi#1400, #1401); senpi compaction is re-enabled on those lanes when
compaction.modelis configured (#1405). - Eval cells survive a stop. The JS kernel handles interrupts cooperatively with a bounded stop, so a stopped or timed-out cell no longer resets the kernel and wipes top-level state, and `Bun.## OMO 5.0.0-beta.45 — engine update: senpi 2026.9.6

npm i -g omo-ai@beta
bunx oh-my-openagent@5.0.0-beta.45 install
bunx lazycodex-ai@5.0.0-beta.45 install
Both published packages were installed into a fresh CODEX_HOME on a clean Linux box (bun 1.4.0 / node 24.18.1) right after publish — through bunx <pkg>@5.0.0-beta.45 install --platform=codex --no-tui --codex-autonomous and through installMarketplaceLocally directly: exit 0, sync:skills clean, 26 skills synced, no OMO SOT warning. npm i -g omo-ai@5.0.0-0.beta.45 then omo --version on that box prints omo 5.0.0-0.beta.45 (engine: senpi 2026.9.6). An independent macOS/arm64 isolated-HOME install of both packages passed as well.
