This beta adds diagnostics for a reported playback delay on the System Output
setting, and is not otherwise a feature release.
- Output device changes that take longer than a second now record where the
time went — the graph teardown, the device format restore, the rebind, the
reschedule and the audio engine start are timed separately, so a slow one
can be attributed rather than guessed at. - The Output list no longer offers Vibe's own internal audio device as
something you can select. - Clearer wording when bit-perfect output is unavailable: the System Output
setting now says so directly instead of asking for a wired device.
If you are helping diagnose the delay, these lines are recorded by the system
and can be retrieved afterwards — there is no need to capture anything live.
