Request threads now close their producer connection when the response is done (request_finished). Set PRODUCER_RELEASE_ON_REQUEST_FINISHED = False on the configured transport to keep the 3.1.0 behaviour.
RabbitMQTransport.PRODUCER_IDLE_MAX_SECONDS is removed: the idle window is now PRODUCER_ASSUMED_ALIVE_HEARTBEATS (1.5) times the heartbeat negotiated with the broker.
Threads that do not serve requests (Celery workers, daemons) should call RabbitMQTransport.clean_connection() at the end of each unit of work. See docs/transports.md.
