A small release with one much requested feature: the generator now remembers what you typed.

Your details are saved in your browser

Fill in the form once and it's still there next time you open the page. Come back in six months, change a job title or a phone number, copy the signature again, and you're done. No more filling in every field from scratch just to fix one line.

This covers everything: your name, title and company, all your contact details and address, the logo and its width, the font and text size, the accent colour, every social link and custom icon, your buttons, and the disclaimer.

Nothing is uploaded. Your details are stored in your own browser on your own machine, exactly like the rest of the tool, which still talks to no server at all. That means it works the same whether you use the live site, run it in Docker, or open the HTML file straight off your desktop.

You stay in control

Under the preview there's a new tick box, Save my details in this browser, switched on by default.

• Untick it and anything stored is deleted right away, and nothing more is saved. That choice is remembered too, so it stays off next time
• Reset to defaults clears what you entered and starts you fresh
• If your browser blocks storage, or you're in a private window, the tool carries on working exactly as before

One thing to know: this is per browser and per device, so your details won't follow you from your laptop to your phone. If a way to export and import your setup as a file would be useful, say so in an issue and I'll look at it.

Upgrading

• Live site: https://signatures.clarkemedia.ie
• Docker: docker pull ghcr.io/clarkemedia/email-signature-generator:latest and restart your container. This release also publishes version numbered images, so you can pin :1.2.0 or :1.2 if you prefer
• Self-hosted: replace your index.html with the one from this release

Images are built for linux/amd64, linux/arm64 and linux/arm/v7, so Raspberry Pi and other ARM hosts are covered.

Nothing else changes, and any signature you already set up keeps working.
