Important
- Updated Chromium to version 96
- Removed optional analytics
New Features
- Added option to use system proxy for all connections
- By default, only the internal browser component uses the system proxy, because Windows' proxy detection can be really slow
Enhancements
- Desktop notifications now automatically update the indicator of how long ago the tweet was posted
- Screenshotting tweets is now much more reliable and less janky
- Disabled automatic color profile detection in Chromium, and added an option to re-enable it
- The official guide is now included in the app itself, instead of loading a remote website
- The installer no longer prompts to install
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015
- The required libraries are now part of the installer
- Dev tools are now always installed, so the context menu item is now hidden by default
- View Options - Advanced and check Show Dev Tools in Context Menu to get the context menu item back
- Using Open dev tools via the context menu now highlights the right-clicked element in the Elements tab
- Reorganized custom scripts and styles into modules with no minification
- All this means is that if you use the dev tools, it'll be much easier to understand and tinker with TweetDuck's internals
Bugfixes
- Fixed screenshotting wrong tweet if the cursor moves onto another tweet too early after triggering the screenshot
- Default background color is now only applied to TweetDeck and Twitter websites
