This bugfix update improves scanner recovery, notebook compatibility, multi-monitor window handling and Hotspot configuration recovery.
Scanner and notebook fixes
- Driver-crash handling (#43): If a driver crash leaves NV-UV's display system unable to recover, the scan is stopped and NV-UV requests an application restart. Existing recovery remains available for recoverable crashes. Full recovery without restarting NV-UV cannot be guaranteed in every case.
- Scanner result protection (#43): Failed or incomplete point verifications remain blocked from application after restarting NV-UV. Only successfully tested clock/voltage pairs are saved as valid scanner results.
- Notebook compatibility (#44): Point scanning and optimization work again on detected notebook GPUs without voltage telemetry, provided fresh clock/load readings are available and the load test passes. Missing voltage confirmation is clearly indicated.
- Invalid voltage readings from sensor bridges are rejected instead of being displayed or used for validation.
- Scanner translations (#45): Recovery, verification and result messages now follow the selected interface language: German, English, Russian or Spanish.
- Multi-monitor window fix: The Voltage Step Scanner adjusts to the current monitor's available work area, keeping its title bar accessible when moving between monitors or switching scan views. Longer content can be scrolled.
Hotspot and diagnostics
- Fixed a Hotspot configuration lock that could reappear after a correctly rolled-back setup when routine Afterburner display settings or saved curves changed. Safety checks for sensor configuration and GPU identity remain in place.
- A notice at the next NV-UV startup reminds users to restart Windows after a detected NVIDIA driver update or reinstallation.
- Diagnostic reports now include the observed Windows startup, NVIDIA driver installation timestamps and Afterburner version changes. Hotspot recovery reports also provide more specific validation details.
