🐛 Bug Fixes
Game Replay
- Fixed silent profile overwrite after hard crash. When a Quick-Lock was pending (blinking slot button) at the moment Event 153 triggered, a subsequent click on the still-blinking button could re-apply the pre-crash values and undo the downstep. The pending-downstep file is now the single source of truth until next NV-UV start. (reported by Paciugo, Gigabyte RTX 4070, Crimson Desert)
UV-Pilot
- Fixed game-exit returning to the wrong slot. Three-tier restore priority now applies:
- Anchor profile if set (always wins)
- Pre-game active slot otherwise (auto-captured at first Pilot apply)
- Pilot fallback for legacy behavior
So if you're on Slot 3 before launching a game, you're back on Slot 3 after exit, regardless of which slot Pilot used internally. (raised by jiggs1337 on PCGH, refined during testing)
- Fixed slot label staying as "1: UV" after game exit even when the actual content was reset to stock. Slot label now correctly reflects the real state.
- Fixed curve display lagging behind the actual GPU state after game exit. Canvas now refreshes immediately to show the active profile's curve, no more manually clicking another slot to force a refresh.
Telemetry
- Fixed power readings on cards where the MAHM sensor list orders "Power percent" before "Power". Power-W now uses unit-based matching instead of name-only, so vendor/driver-specific sensor ordering no longer causes the GPU to report a percentage value as watts. (reported by Emanuel, MSI RTX 4070 Ti Super)
GPU Detection - Added Gainward (PCI Subsystem ID
0x10B0) to the vendor table. Cards like the RTX 4090 Phantom no longer show as "Unknown (10B0)". (reported by Banshee18, Gainward RTX 4090 Phantom)
✨ UX Improvements
Game Browser
- Override-column ComboBox widened so longer custom-profile names like "3045 MHz @ 925 mV" are readable in the selected state. (suggested by Paciugo)
Preset Editor
- Removed the editable name field when editing a built-in preset (Eco/Bal/Perf/Max). Preset overrides don't persist a custom name, so showing an editable field that silently resets on next open was confusing. Custom Profiles still have the field. (reported by Paciugo)
Preset Tooltips
- Eco and Balanced presets on Blackwell GPUs (RTX 5060 Ti / 5070 / 5070 Ti / 5080 / 5090) now show a warning that reduced power limits can cause instability with MFG (Multi Frame Generation). If issues occur, raise PL to 100% in the profile.
Anchor Profile
- Updated tooltip and Tester Guide wording from the old "UV stays active without NV-UV" to the actually-true behavior: "auto-restored after games end (requires UV-Pilot)".
Footer Status
- Changed misleading "NV-UV ready — no voltage" to a clearer "⚠ NV-UV not ready — enable voltage monitoring in Afterburner". Tooltip is now bilingual (DE/EN).
Thanks to Emanuel, Banshee18, Paciugo, jiggs1337, and all the testers across PCGH, Discord, and beyond who helped track these down. Your feedback keeps NV-UV moving forward.
