Kilby DEV Alpha — v2.0.3

  • UV Curve: fixed the incorrect stock-curve display after editing points, resetting to Stock curve and switching profiles. Also fixed a false offset-limit error when applying point edits after switching from a flattened preset.
  • Global profiles: saved custom profiles can now be renamed from the right-click menu.
  • Voltage Lock and Gradient Lock: shared upper-curve flattening and verification of the actual driver plateau across supported GeForce families, including Ada and the optional Ampere gradient. Family-specific lower curves remain unchanged.
  • Hard Lock (experimental): a new option under Settings → Advanced options requests a fixed GPU clock. Requires Turing or newer, driver support and DCC turned off. It prevents normal idle downclocking and may increase idle power. V-Step Compensation remains available; the actual clock is not guaranteed to stay exactly at the requested frequency. Play releases its own pin when changing algorithms, applying saved point curves, deactivating or exiting normally, with recovery at the next startup if release fails.
  • Custom grid: compact rows like Two columns, with labels on the left and values on the right. Cell width and height are adjustable and saved with layout profiles.
  • Frametime graph: move the full-width block above, below or between reading rows using the position selector, arrows or drag and drop. Its position is saved with layout profiles; the average is labeled “Frametime avg”.
  • Settings: the GPU selection section is hidden when one NVIDIA GPU is uniquely identified and active. Multiple-GPU selection and selection-error recovery remain available.

Saved point curves retain their own shape and dynamic clock scaling. Unsupported flatten targets are reported explicitly. Other GPU families still require hardware validation. The scanner and NVIDIA Experimental (Power Efficiency Mode) still require a single NVIDIA GPU; experimental voltage settings are a separate feature.

Update through Play, or extract the complete portable ZIP. Please do not run MSI Afterburner together with Play.

VirusTotal: Main EXE · Overlay attach helper x64 · Overlay attach helper x86. The two helpers are unchanged from v2.0.2. These reports do not cover the four renderer DLLs.

The optional fullscreen-overlay helpers use DLL injection and can trigger antivirus detections; vendor confirmation of suspected false positives is pending. Flagged helpers can stay quarantined: the corresponding experimental DX11/DX12 fullscreen overlay will be unavailable, while Play's main functions and desktop/windowed/borderless overlay remain usable. Vulkan uses separate renderer DLLs.

Thank you for your feedback, bug reports and diagnostic data!
