NV-UV Play v2.0.15

pre-release2 hours ago

This update improves the Curve editor.

Choose how Flatline shapes your curve

Select your target voltage and frequency, then open the menu next to Flatline using the arrow or a right-click on the button.

  • Selected point: Hold the selected frequency from that voltage onward. All points to the right become flat, while the points to the left keep their current shape and edits.
  • Flatline + gradient, Automatic (preset): Let Play calculate the curve leading up to your target using your GPU family's preset behavior and current lock settings. This rebuilds the curve and replaces individual point edits. Automatic remains the default.
  • Flatline + gradient, manual start: Use Start rise at… to choose where the rise toward your target begins. Points below that voltage are kept. Play builds the transition from the chosen start to your target, then flattens the curve to the right.

Preview first, then apply

Clicking Flatline prepares a draft in the editor. You can inspect it, adjust individual points, or use Undo and Redo before applying it. The GPU continues using its active settings during these edits.

The additional DRAFT label above the graph makes this distinction visible: your editor changes have not been applied yet. Apply curve both applies the draft to the GPU and saves it to the selected profile slot.

Discard changes in one step

Use Discard draft beside Undo and Redo, or right-click the selected profile slot and choose it there. This discards that profile's unsaved edits, including power-limit and VRAM changes, and reloads its saved settings into the editor. The active GPU settings stay unchanged.

Confirmation before overwriting a profile

When Apply curve would overwrite the selected saved profile or replace a preset in its slot, Play now names the affected profile and asks for confirmation. This covers every draft, including individual point edits, Flatline, stock curves, and power-limit or VRAM changes.

Cancelling keeps your draft available for editing and leaves the saved profile and GPU settings unchanged. Confirming updates the selected profile. Other slots and games linked to that saved profile also use the updated settings. When replacing a preset slot, the original built-in preset remains available.

To temporarily return the GPU to stock while keeping your saved profiles, use Default.

Compatibility

  • Manual gradient starts require Gradient Lock. On Ampere, the optional Ampere gradient setting must also be enabled. Turing's preset option keeps the stock curve below the target and does not offer a manual rise.
  • Profiles using the new Flatline shape options require Play 2.0.15 or newer. Older builds may not reproduce the saved curve shape correctly.
  • Software checks cover Blackwell, Ada, Ampere and Turing. Confirmation on physical Ada and Ampere cards is still pending.

VirusTotal scan of the signed executable: no detections at the time of this release preparation.
