Curve editor and profiles
- UV Curve is now called Curve editor. Apply curve applies and saves your individually edited curve. Flatline curve holds the selected point’s frequency at every voltage to its right, then applies and saves the curve. Both actions have a preview or concise explanation.
- Added Edit profile to the slot context menus. The Curve editor and UV Try can stay open while you use their parent windows.
- Fixed a WPF thread error when renaming an active profile.
- Fixed UV Try rejecting valid target values because of automatically calculated intermediate curve points. The selected target still has to pass validation.
- Extended the positive curve offset range to +1050 MHz. Values above +1000 MHz require a warning confirmation. This does not guarantee driver acceptance or stability; the negative limit remains -1000 MHz.
- UV Try now includes Share values for submitting your settings to the existing community database. Nothing is submitted until you select Send.
DCC and Stabilizer
- Save a learned DCC entry as a fixed UV profile in Slot 1-6. Play uses the lowest learned clock with its recorded settings. Saving does not activate the profile, and the fixed profile does not include DCC’s dynamic control.
- Older learned entries without a usable UV snapshot still work for DCC but cannot be exported as complete UV profiles. A new learning session with successfully captured GPU settings is required.
- DCC History now combines Learned profiles and Blocked profiles. Right-click a learned game to block or unblock it, or use Add to choose another EXE. Apply saves the changes; Cancel discards them. Blocking keeps the learned values.
- The EXE blocklist applies to Automatic DCC. It does not disable NVIDIA Experimental (Power Efficiency Mode), the global FPS limit or global V-Sync settings. NVIDIA Experimental remains separate from Expert voltage settings.
- Added a Stabilizer tab to My profiles, using the same correction history as Game Library. Review and reset individual corrections or save them as independent UV profiles without activating them. Copies use the current profile’s power limit and VRAM settings; unavailable or changed source profiles are identified.
Startup profiles
- Use as startup profile can apply a saved profile at Windows sign-in even with regular Play Autostart disabled. A short startup process applies and verifies the profile, then exits.
- Added a 15-second delay before automatic startup application. Hold Shift during this period to skip Play’s automatic startup for that Windows sign-in. Saved profiles and settings are kept. Open Play manually to select a different profile.
- DCC, UV Pilot, Stabilizer, Overlay, Smart Hz and custom fan control still require Play to remain running.
Fan control, overlay and window behavior
- Added Zero Fan support for fan curves. At 0%, Play hands control to the GPU’s automatic cooling. The card and its firmware decide whether the fan stops; curve control resumes above 0% within the driver’s supported range.
- Fixed overlay flicker at certain font sizes. The frame-time trend now scrolls smoothly between updates while preserving the recorded values, spikes and gaps.
- Minimizing the main window now also triggers the existing memory trim.
- Improved size and position recall for My profiles and Expert voltage settings. My profiles opens with more vertical space. Fixed Game Library scaling and clipped controls, and added its resize grip.
- Shortened and wrapped long tooltips, including curve actions, startup profiles, Zero Fan and DCC profile export.
Diagnostics
- Expanded GPU identity, sensor and error diagnostics, including DCC readings that are missing or stalled. Basic diagnostics do not require CSV performance logging.
- Added diagnostic context for Afterburner processes, startup registrations and saved settings. A stored setting alone is not treated as proof that Afterburner applied it.
