New feature: Smart Hz. Plus a game library bump and two fixes.
🚀 New: Smart Hz
A one-switch way to save power on the desktop without touching anything during gaming.
When no game is running, Smart Hz drops your monitor to a low refresh rate you choose. The moment a mapped game launches it switches straight back to your native rate, and back to idle the second you quit. A lower desktop rate keeps the GPU in a lower clock state, which is where the desktop power saving actually comes from. G-Sync compatible, and the rate reverts on logoff or reboot for safety.
- The toggle sits under Autostart in the main window.
- Right-click the toggle to pick the idle rate inline (it lists your monitor's real rates).
- Full config under Settings, "Configure Smart Hz...".
- Smart Hz needs game detection, so turning it on also turns Activate on.
Smart Hz writes a display mode change through the standard Windows path and reverts cleanly on exit, but this is an open alpha. If a rate switch looks off on your setup, grab the idle rate from the right-click menu and let me know.
🎮 Game library
639 titles. The live list is pulled at runtime, so detection keeps improving without a new build.
Warframe now targets the x64 game client instead of the launcher, so no lock is applied during the launcher phase.
🐛 Fix
- GPU variant detection: a card now shows the correct maker (an Aorus 5090 was showing up as Zotac). Boards with a known subvendor show the brand, unknown ones a neutral generic. Display only, NVML drives the real power envelope.
If your card shows up wrong, open an issue with a log attached and I will add it to the table.
