Android ARM64 preview v7 corrects the vertex-shader declaration rejected by the Adreno 750 V@0762.41 driver in a reported S24 Ultra / Android 16 black-screen run. The game log showed successful GLES context creation followed by repeated gl_ClipDistance compile/link failures while audio continued.
The renderer uses the clipping extension's predeclared built-in array, sized through constant indices. Near/far clipping remains enabled. Shader error logs now include the actual adapted GLES source.
Validation: 66/66 graphics checks on Android and desktop, including three near/far clipping pixel checks; Android tests disabled the shader cache and compiled 13 shaders. Launcher tests: 228/228. Optimized release startup rendered the title with shader cache disabled and no compile/link errors. ARM64-only libraries, 16 KiB ELF/APK alignment and development signature verified. The S24 Ultra itself still needs a tester retry; this is not a claim of physical Adreno or Android 16 validation.
Install sms-launcher-arm64-release-test-v7.apk over v6 using the same development signing key. Existing imported ROM/save data is retained; no uninstall is needed. The APK contains the landscape launcher, SDL and native port, with no ROM or save bundled. Android 10+, GLES 3.1+, ARM64 and a controller are required. Import your own US revision 0 Sunshine ISO/GCM if this is a first install. Base game only; Eclipse/HD setup remains desktop-only.
After testing, report whether logos/title now render. If it remains black, reproduce, return with Android Back and Export game log before another Play replaces it. This preview is separate from Stable/Beta and neither PR is merged.
