Fetching with Agents + UX Stuff
We're so excited for this release! It brings a new tool for agents and some UX improvements. Read on for more.
New Tool: Agentic Fetch
Now you can pull stuff down from a URL with a subagent. This means that Crush can reason about the content it fetched from the URL, and keep going until it finds what it needs.
The non-agentic fetch tool is still there, too. If you’d like the agent to choose one or the other, just ask.
UX Updates
We made two UX changes in this release courtesy star-contributor @Amolith.
- You can now press / in an empty textarea to show the command palette will show. You can, of course, still press ctrl+p anytime to show it as well.
- @ now opens the filepicker (instead of /), as
/felt too much like the start of an absolute path.
See You Soon!
Let us know what you think about the release in Slack, Discord or GitHub. See you in the next release! 💘

Changed
Verifying the artifacts
First, download the checksums.txt file, for example, with wget:
wget 'https://github.com/charmbracelet/crush/releases/download/v0.15.0/checksums.txt'Then, verify it using cosign:
cosign verify-blob \
--certificate-identity 'https://github.com/charmbracelet/meta/.github/workflows/goreleaser.yml@refs/heads/main' \
--certificate-oidc-issuer 'https://token.actions.githubusercontent.com' \
--cert 'https://github.com/charmbracelet/crush/releases/download/v0.15.0/checksums.txt.pem' \
--signature 'https://github.com/charmbracelet/crush/releases/download/v0.15.0/checksums.txt.sig' \
./checksums.txtIf the output is Verified OK, you can safely use it to verify the checksums of other artifacts you downloaded from the release using sha256sum:
sha256sum --ignore-missing -c checksums.txtDone! You artifacts are now verified!
