- X0X now works on the newer FM-1s. Units sold since autumn 2026, mostly on AliExpress, have a different flash chip (UC25HQ80). Until this release, X0X couldn't save projects on them, back them up or install another firmware. Now it can, and the rescue script takes them too. Thanks to Laurens (@profikid) for the fix (fm1-base#35).
- M-VAVE's updater, M-UPGRADE 3.11 (2026-11-03), didn't find an FM-1 running X0X. It said "A USB MIDI device is present but did not answer". This version answers it, so M-UPGRADE can put M-VAVE's firmware back. Older versions of X0X still aren't found: for those, use "Back to the stock firmware" on the install page.
x0x-1.2.1.fwsc is the firmware to install; x0x-1.2.1-app.bin is the bare app image.
