• 7f36e78: Fixed styles going missing in Astro, Svelte and Vue files when the markup uses syntax Panda didn't read
  correctly, such as a regex or comment inside an expression. css() calls in Astro client <script> blocks now get
  their CSS too.

• d941e4a: Fixed a boolean utility's false value, like md: { srOnly: false }, missing from the stylesheet.

• b8e2b5b: Fixed recipe rules being emitted twice when both your app and a designSystem package use the same recipe.

• db5d9b7: Fixed issue where panda codegen failed with design_system_export_missing for ./jsx when using a
  designSystem without jsxFramework.

• 30465d3: panda starts faster. Installed presets load with Node instead of being re-bundled on every run, and a build
  no longer loads the code for init and debug.

  • @pandacss/preset-base, @pandacss/preset-panda and @pandacss/preset-typography are now ESM-only, like the rest
    of v2.
  • Generated styled-system/patterns files are reformatted once.

• d8c494c: Fix token.var() references for token keys containing dots, such as spacing.1.5, so they match the emitted
  CSS variables, including when hashing is enabled.

  Restore v1 behavior for negative spacing: token.var() returns the original positive variable, while token() keeps
  returning the negated value.

  Emoji in token keys are no longer escaped in CSS variable names, matching v1.

• e3fd924: File discovery no longer walks into directories that no include pattern can match, and enters each real
  directory once however many symlinks lead to it. In pnpm workspaces, ../*/src/*.ts and ../**/src/*.ts includes no
  longer hang following linked packages, and each file is scanned once instead of once per link path.

• b806435: Generated pattern and style helpers no longer recreate their regular expressions on every call.

• 645d370: Fixed generated code failing to type-check with outExtension: 'ts'. styled-system now passes a strict
  type check for React, Preact, Solid, and Vue, and the JSX declarations use far fewer any types.

• ddc34f9: panda lib now exports ./types, so packages built on a design system can annotate their recipes and emit
  .d.ts files.

• 4842f3c: Add style extraction for .mdx files in include. Panda now extracts JSX style props and css() calls from
  MDX while skipping code examples in Markdown.

• 145f6d2: Fixed an issue where a color with an opacity modifier and !important or !, like
  brand.500/60 !important, warned about an invalid opacity modifier.

• 85fb637: Fixed trace files written with the PANDA_TRACE environment variable being cut short. The trace now finishes
  when the process exits, including in the Vite and PostCSS plugins.

• 164508e: Style helpers can now destructure their parameters, declare local const / let values, spread objects, and
  call other helpers, and Panda still extracts their styles. A helper Panda can't evaluate now warns with
  pure_helper_unevaluated instead of silently skipping its styles.

  Default values of parameters and destructured props, like function Button({ size = 'md' }), generate CSS again.

• 43cfcc1: Fixed issue where css.raw(), cva().raw(), sva().raw(), and splitCssProps() returned null-prototype
  objects, which broke toStrictEqual, hasOwnProperty, and string coercion.

• 42ff936: Fixed config recipes throwing TypeError: v.charCodeAt is not a function when hash: true is set.

• b8e2b5b: Recipe CSS is now grouped like atomic CSS, with shared media queries and merged rules, for smaller output
  that matches v1's ordering.

• 802eb61: Fixed slot recipes overriding recipe variants in minified production builds, like Vite 8's default build.

• 3f41f62: In recipes and globalCss, the later key now wins when two keys set the same CSS property, as in v1.

  • Shorthands and utilities follow key order: { bgColor: 'red', backgroundColor: 'blue' } gives blue.

  • textStyle, layerStyle and animationStyle expand in place, so a property must come after them to override them:

    { textStyle: 'body', color: 'blue' } // blue

  • Design systems need to rerun panda lib to regenerate their build info.

• a1c495c: Fixed a TypeScript error when passing css or style props in the styled factory's defaultProps. The
  styles were already applied at runtime, only the types rejected them.

• 22ba83d: You can pass a readonly slots array to sva() again. A slots array declared as const no longer fails
  with TS4104, so you can reuse it in your own types:

• f33fb6c: Fixed issue where a nested DEFAULT in textStyles, layerStyles, or animationStyles wasn't reachable
  through its parent key, so textStyle: 'body' emitted no CSS and the type listed "body.DEFAULT" instead of
  "body".
