Patch Changes

  • 576c72a: colorPalette.include and exclude now pick palettes by name, and each palette keeps all of its tokens.
    Themes with many nested groups can drop nested palettes from the strictTokens union without losing any virtual
    token:

    export default defineConfig({
      theme: {
        // `gray` stays a palette with colorPalette.1 and colorPalette.solid.bg; `gray.solid` is dropped
        colorPalette: { exclude: ['*.*'] },
      },
    })
  • a63cb20: With the Vite, PostCSS, webpack, or Bun plugins, your stylesheet only needs the top-level layer order. Slot
    recipes no longer override recipe variants:

    @layer reset, base, tokens, recipes, utilities;

    If you added @layer recipes.base, … lines as a workaround, you can remove them.

  • 24718f4: Fix dev and watch mode ignoring edits and new files matched by an include glob outside the project root,
    such as a sibling package in a monorepo:

    include: ['./src/**/*.tsx', '../../packages/ui/src/**/*.tsx']
  • b220f62: strictTokens now accepts common CSS keywords that have no token to replace them, like maxWidth: 'none',
    filter: 'none', fill: 'none' and float: 'left'. transitionProperty also accepts any property name or list,
    like 'opacity, transform'.

  • 24718f4: Fix watch mode ignoring changes when a file is reported through a symlink, such as a symlinked project folder
    or a pnpm workspace package.

  • 8b6f7e0: forwardProps now types a forwarded prop from the wrapped component when it shares a name with a style prop,
    so a component's own position or translate prop no longer conflicts with the CSS one:

    const Handle = withContext(ImageCropper.Handle, 'handle', { forwardProps: ['position'] })

    <Handle position="ne" /> // typed as the component's `position`, not CSS `position`
