A fast follow-up to v3.0.0 fixing a critical Proxy Mode bug plus several reported issues. Upgrading is strongly recommended for anyone who uses Proxy Mode.
Fixed
- Critical — "Local proxy only" mode no longer breaks your network. In v3.0.0, selecting the Local proxy only (manual apps) proxy scope (with DNS leak protection on, the default) forced all system DNS through Tor even though traffic went direct — so name resolution stopped working for every app on the machine, not just OnionHop. DNS-over-Tor now applies only when the system proxy is actually routing traffic through Tor.
- Snowflake AMP cache toggle is now in Settings → Network → Bridges ("Snowflake AMP cache fronting"). The "enable AMP cache in Settings → Network" hint previously had no matching control. (#45)
- Scrollbars are visible again on long lists (DNS-hop providers, Bridge Scanner, the split-tunnel app picker) — they no longer auto-hide to an invisible sliver.
- Bridge Scanner / log exports now save as a proper
.txtfile instead of an extension-less / unknown file type. - Split-tunnel app picker now lists running apps on Linux and macOS (it was Windows-only and showed an empty list).
- Linux TUN/VPN mode now shows the exact, environment-preserving command to relaunch the AppImage with root, instead of a generic "run as root" error. (#44)
