Release time again... aren't we all eager to see what changed this time? :-)
Heavily improved the CW tracker and its moved out of its JSON files into databases. It has grow up so fast.
As I've said many times (and before anyone gets ideas): this does not turn CW tracker into a "real tracker"
CW is and stays just a sync hub. CW tracker is your little friend in the middle (one source of truth that all your services sync through)
Release:
v0.14.2 is all about the CW tracker. It now has its own database and its own Tracker tab.
New status mapping so you can sync your show status between supported trackers.
This release also adds Tofa (not tofu) as a new media server and sync errors now explain in plain words what went wrong.
And of course i've changed the usual round of (mobile) UI stuff and some fixes.
Upgrade note:
CW tracker data now migrates automatically from JSON to a database, with progress in notifications.
Snapshots are compressed; the default changes from 64 to 14 per feature, still kept for up to 30 days.
All original JSON files, including older snapshots, remain in a json-backup-* folder for recovery (if needed)
✨ Highlights
- New Tracker tab: everything in your CW tracker in one place.
- History: a plain list of every play by default. Turn on By day to group plays per day, with a month timeline to jump back in time.
- Shows: progress per show, the next episode to watch, or when it airs.
- Watching stats: plays in the last 7 days, last 30 days and this year, hours watched and your day streak.
- Edit, delete and undo: change dates, ratings and IDs, or delete records. Every change can be undone from Changes
- Import into a tracker: bring in your history, watchlist, ratings, progress or collection from a connected provider.
- Status mapping syncs between trackers: choose which statuses to sync.
- Set mappings in Pair config -> Providers.
- Include or exclude statuses. Choose what each becomes on the other service.
- Set separate rules for movies, shows and each sync direction.
- Supports CW, SIMKL, AniList, MyAnimeList, Kitsu, PunchPlay, WeTrakr, Floppy, Trakt, MDBList, PublicMetaDB and Scrob.
- Captures also include statuses now.
- New media server provider: Tofa: requires Tofa 0.13.1 or newer.
- Sync: watchlist, history, progress and collection, with library whitelisting per connection and per sync pair.
- Collection: includes the date added, plus media info such as resolution and audio if you turn it on in the sync pair.
- Scrobble: the watcher picks up playback live and keeps a watch when you skip the credits. Watched marks you set in Tofa are picked up too.
- Mark as watched at: see the Tofa watched rule next to your CW threshold and apply yours to Tofa in one click.
- Instances and household users (Identities) are supported.
- Better sync errors: when an item fails, CW now tells you what went wrong and what to check.
- Same message everywhere: logs, Events, Interactive Sync and reports.
- Covers the failure reasons of all sync providers. Unknown codes still show the raw code.
🔧 Fixes & Improvements
- Improved: Fix match: preview a candidate in the media card before you pick it.
- Improved: Interactive Sync: when a plan cannot finish, it is marked as partial.
- Improved: WeTrakr: when history has bad records, you get one message listing all of them instead of only the first.
- Improved: Removed (old) safety caps from the providers.
- Improved: some UI changes and improved mobile experience.
- Improved: Run Standard and Advanced schedules together, skipping duplicate pairs when their runs overlap.
- Fixed: Preserve pending workflows and backups when unrelated Advanced settings change.
- Fixed: Prevent cancelled work from restarting through an overlapping Standard run.
- Fixed: Scrob: IMDb and TVDB IDs are kept, not just TMDB.
- Fixed: Plex: playback that ends without a stop (for example after skipping credits) is now closed (bug in plex)
- Fixed: Scrob: failed items now show the real reason instead of unknown.
- Fixed: Disconnect could be undone by a token refresh that was still running. Disconnect is now instant.
- Fixed: Date and time pickers now follow the light and dark theme and incudes seconds.
- Fixed: Scrobble: Silo items finished with skipped credits could stay in progress.
- Fixed: Scrobble: Floppy episodes landing on the wrong show (was bug in Floppy)
