Release of Electron 3.0.0-beta.10 with support for Widevine CDM installation, Verified Media Path (VMP), and protected persistent storage of licenses.
NOTE: This is a beta release. Please file new issues for Electron with stock Electron and with the Widevine media path here.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
- No support for migration of persisted licenses from 1.8.x due to a change in the Widevine key-system
- Does not yet support the new VMP status PLATFORM_SECURE_STORAGE_SOFTWARE_VERIFIED
