ServiceRadar v1.4.50
IdP groups can map to role profiles and user groups, and those
grants go away when membership does. Sweep groups can target a
selected agent subset instead of all-or-one. Plugin SNMP shows
where a profile came from, and a version bump no longer collides
on the display name. Also: VRRP MACs stop stealing device
identity, MTR headlines report the destination, OpenText NOM
rules actually provision, and the dashboard profile menu stays
open.
Whats New
1.4.50
- Identity: an IdP group mapping can name a role profile or a
user group as well as a role, and every matching mapping
contributes — profiles and groups union, highest declared
privilege wins. Grants recorded from a mapping are revoked
when the group membership behind them goes away. Settings ->
Authorization has a dry-run resolver. (PR #4207) - Sweep: a group can target selected agents instead of
all-or-one. Assignments are canonicalagent_idswith a
scalar compatibility bridge for mixed-version Helm rollouts.
The picker is searchable and keyset-paginated. (PR #4183) - Plugins: SNMP rows materialized from a package are keyed on
plugin_id, so approving a new version no longer misses the
previous version's profiles and collides on the display name.
Provenance is on facts (snmp_profile_id) and in Settings
(list + Custom tab), including after the package is removed.
Missing credentials are warned. (PR #4178, #4175, #4177) - Inventory: VRRP interface MACs are not used as primary
device identity. CORE-1'svrrp10MAC had been forking a
second device. (PR #4181) - MTR: destination loss and latency come from reached
terminal-hop observations, not a noisy transit hop. Path
reachability, endpoint availability, and per-hop diagnostics
stay separate. (PR #4216) - Web UI: Settings -> Credentials and Rules shows reusable
credential inventory separately from assignment rules, so
an SNMPv3 profile that referencessnmp-v3no longer looks
unconfigured. (PR #4180) - Web UI: the dashboard profile menu stays open across
LiveView remorphs. (PR #4210) - MCP: an omitted MCP limit no longer swallows the SRQL
query limit. (PR #4174) - OpenText NOM: credential-rule provisioning no longer dies on
a missing:by_policyread.ual-nomstayed Pending /
Awaiting provisioning with Run Now disabled. (PR #4223) - Web UI: Active Scans "Hosts Scanned" is Latest Execution,
with host unit and sweep-group name, so one run is not
mistaken for total coverage. (PR #4218) - Event writer: optional drain-consumer setup failures are a
warning, not a startup error. Required consumer failures
stay fatal. (PR #4219) - Docs: Visibility Profiles operator page; Validation Runs is
vendor-neutral; credentials guide matches what 1.4.49
actually ships. (PR #4179, #4211, #4213) - Schema:
