Highlights
This release moves the dependency pin set to cardano-node 11.1.3. Node 11.1.2 was
never released into a wallet, so this advance covers both steps. The headline upstream
change is a fix users can see: pool-relay IPv4 addresses decode in network byte order
again, so relay addresses no longer display with swapped octets — the 11.1.1 pin set
(cardano-ledger-binary 1.9.0.0) had decoded them in the wrong order. The pin set
also takes cardano-ledger-allegra 1.10.1.0, which reduces Timelock memory use; the
known upstream Timelock Eq/Ord-by-hash defect it carries
(#5444) was analyzed
and the wallet is unexposed — native-script handling is structural and never compares,
hashes or re-encodes a decoded child. Everything else is maintenance: a CI tweak and a
dapp decoder pin.
Changes
Fixed
- Decode pool-relay IPv4 addresses in network byte order again, fixing relay addresses displayed with swapped octets since the 11.1.1 pin set (#5463, via
cardano-ledger-binary1.9.0.0 → 1.9.1.0)
Changed
- Advance the dependency pin set to
cardano-node11.1.3 (#5463), superseding the held 11.1.2 advance (#5444) - dapp: pin the exact-output decoder (#5445)
Internal
- Accept
Part of/Towardsissue references in PR bodies, so CI links such PRs to their issues (#5459)
API changes
No endpoint changes, but there are some other changes
Known Issues
- (#5075) Byron random wallet migration using a
secret.keyfails withMissingVKeyWitnessesUTXOW. - (#5170) On GHC 9.12.2, UTxO reads are about twice as slow at 10k UTxOs and
TxHistorywrites are heavier.
