Older DirectX games: DirectDraw and Direct3D 1–7 now draw, and videos a game draws itself show over its 3D picture.
New
- DirectDraw and Direct3D 1–7. 32-bit games that draw through DirectDraw or Direct3D 7 and older now run on the console, through dxwrapper and DXVK. Before, they had nothing to draw with.
Fixed
- Videos drawn by the game show over its 3D picture. Intro videos a game draws into its window while its Direct3D screen is already open are now visible, and the loading screen steps aside when they start. Before, the screen stayed black until the game's own 3D picture.
- The game's window keeps its place at start-up. A game window is shown as the game asks, not maximized first, so a video drawn into it fills the screen. Before, it could end up off-centre and smaller than the screen.
- DirectDraw opened in the background no longer hangs. A game that opens DirectDraw from a second thread goes on, and it loads in about a second. Before, it could stop for good or wait over a minute.
- Logs keep their last lines. When a game is closed from the HOME Menu, its logs now end with what happened last, for bug reports.
Rebuild games made with Carafe 0.5.1 to get these changes.
