This release is about games that use many threads: they get far more of them, wait instead of closing at the limit, and show an error screen when something still goes wrong. Rebuild games made with 0.2.4 to get these changes.
New
- Error screen. When a game fails, Carafe now shows a screen with the reason and lets you restart the game or exit. Before, the game just closed. (#31)
Fixed
- More threads for games. A game can now run about 80 threads instead of about 35, and when it reaches the limit a new thread waits for a free place instead of the game closing. (#31)
- Graphics survive a busy moment. When the system briefly refuses a thread, graphics try again instead of ending the game. (#31)
- Pausing and stopping threads. Games that pause or stop their own threads now do it correctly. (#31)
- Fewer stalls. Games stall less when many threads end at once. (#31)
- More memory for 32-bit games. 32-bit games get about 360 MB more address space. (#31)
