Changelog :

  • [SECURITY] ui: escape and sanitise user data in flash messages, settings editors and session details, closing a script injection through service and config names.
  • [SECURITY] jobs: verify the ASN and country MMDB downloads against the checksum DB-IP publishes, over a host and size bounded transfer, and keep the database already in place when verification fails instead of caching an unchecked file.
  • [FEATURE] installer: Docker Full installs can optionally configure a local syslog-ng collector with persistent log storage, making BunkerWeb and component logs available in the Web UI while keeping normal Docker logs.
  • [FEATURE] ui: add UI_USE_REDIS=no to take the web UI off Redis on its own, where the global USE_REDIS also stops sharing bans and reports between instances.
  • [FEATURE] ui: retain individual settings as drafts in the RAW editor, with explicit activation and inherited or default effective values. (Refs #3631)
  • [FEATURE] modsecurity: add opt-in Concurrent audit logging with instance storage validation. (Fixes #3891)
  • [BUGFIX] scheduler: acknowledge configuration changes before rendering them, so a write that lands while the previous write's once-jobs are still running gets its own job cycle instead of being rendered without its jobs (a removed mTLS CA stayed trusted, a new CrowdSec service ran unchecked, a ModSecurity audit change could be skipped).
  • [BUGFIX] scheduler, ui: validate manual plugins before database updates and preserve rejected plugin folders and stored configuration during scanning and restoration. Keep unchanged sibling plugins and log config-saver exit codes. (Refs #3303)
  • [BUGFIX] jobs: folder caches that contain symlinks (the Let's Encrypt live/ links) restore from the database again, while absolute or escaping links are still rejected.
  • [BUGFIX] backup: the database lock is a real flock now; a second backup, restore or scheduler tick waits up to 30 s then reports busy instead of taking the lock away from a live holder.
  • [BUGFIX] database: compute missing custom-config checksums to prevent save failures and config loss when renaming a service. (Refs #3893)
  • [BUGFIX] api: renaming a service through PATCH /services/{service} moves its custom configs, per-service settings and job cache to the new name instead of dropping them as a deleted service; a service owned by the environment, autoconf or the wizard is refused there since its owner would recreate the old name.
  • [BUGFIX] autoconf: on Kubernetes, a BunkerWeb pod that is running but not yet Ready receives its configuration, since the readiness probe waits for it; a pod being deleted is skipped.
  • [BUGFIX] letsencrypt: with LETS_ENCRYPT_PASSTHROUGH=yes, a GET or HEAD of a single ACME token under /.well-known/acme-challenge/ reaches the backend without any other check, ModSecurity, bans and antibot included. (Fixes #3927)
  • [BUGFIX] letsencrypt: preserve the full base of explicit wildcard names and keep separate wildcard scopes aligned between certificate issuance and loading. Affected services request a new certificate after upgrading; old certificates remain on disk unless LETS_ENCRYPT_CLEAR_OLD_CERTS=yes. (Refs #3326)
  • [BUGFIX] letsencrypt: correct certificate-profile validity periods and name limits in setting help and all translations, and warn before issuance when a known Let's Encrypt profile exceeds its name limit. Requests continue unchanged. (Refs #3251)
  • [BUGFIX] letsencrypt: prevent preferred_profile errors in the legacy certificate-list helper. (Refs #3839)
  • [BUGFIX] modsecurity: show request-body parser denials in Reports with their rule ID and original HTTP method, without changing enforcement or sharing them through BunkerNet. (Fixes #3905)
  • [BUGFIX] antibot: add accessible error messages and reload controls for all external CAPTCHA providers. (Fixes #3867)
  • [BUGFIX] errors: keep the blocking plugin reason on reports when a custom error page is configured, instead of unknown. (Fixes #3916)
  • [BUGFIX] bunkernet: back off failed registration retries with an exponential delay capped at 24 hours, retaining the previous exit status while waiting. Registration still depends on the BunkerNet API; HTTP 429 and 403 remain non-fatal. (Refs #3636)
  • [BUGFIX] ui: keep serving sessions when Redis stops answering or refuses writes after startup, instead of failing every request until the workers restart. The affected sessions fall back to a local store, per host, and return to Redis on recovery; with several UI replicas the others stop seeing a session that moved and ask for a login. A silent eviction is not covered, since Redis reports success and simply no longer holds the key.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: a session updated or ended while Redis was unavailable is no longer replaced by the older copy Redis still held once it answers again; the local copy is read first and written back on recovery.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: store flash messages as plain strings so the Redis session backend can serialise them; with USE_REDIS=yes every login answered 500.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: a setting that was never set before can be drafted from the RAW editor.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: the PRO page showed a raw {{pro_services}} placeholder in the licence limit alert.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: stop showing HTML entities in validation errors and tooltips.
  • [BUGFIX] ui: remove broken source-map references that could trigger bans when opening browser developer tools. (Fixes #3896)
  • [BUGFIX] ui: avoid false success notifications after failed service saves, report background errors, and prevent a crash when adding a custom config. (Refs #3893)
  • [BUGFIX] ui: align the CSRF token lifetime with the session lifetime, so a form left open for more than an hour no longer logs the user out with a session expired message. (Refs #2359)
  • [PERFORMANCE] errors: reduce inline SVG whitespace without changing error-page artwork. (Refs #3892)
  • [DEPS] bunkerweb: update NGINX to 1.30.5 (CVE-2026-90439, HTTP/3 buffer overflow). Fedora 43 has no 1.30.5 package yet, so its BunkerWeb package keeps building its modules against 1.30.4.
  • [CONTRIBUTION] Thank you Ayushsinha322 for fixing Concurrent audit validation on inactive scopes. (#3907)
