After around eight quiet months, CrapFixer is finally back. This is not a small update to the old app. The core has been rebuilt from scratch, with one goal: make Windows tweaking simple again without hardcoding the whole app around a fixed collection of tweaks.
CrapFixer now pays attention to the scan instead of blindly running every selected tweak again.
- [Added] Run Fixer becomes Fix 4 issues after an analysis and processes only the settings that actually need attention
- [Added] When no problems are found, the button shows Nothing to fix and disables itself
- [Improved] Fixed entries are checked again immediately and turn gray once everything is set correctly
- [Changed] Applied tweaks are now shown in calm gray instead of green. Red is reserved for settings that require attention
- [Changed] Backup and confirmation options moved from Basic Settings into a new Advanced subpage
- [Improved] Basic Settings is cleaner and now focuses only on language and database management
