Bloatynosy Origin - The King Came Home 👑

yeah, I built a debloater. then I debloated the debloater. then I debloated that debloater🙄

Bloatynosy 0.85 punched way above its weight. Instead of building on it, I gave it a family tree. So I went back

Bloatynosy Origin is here👑

Who would have thought I’d bring this app back too? I certainly didnt

The last Bloatynosy update was in January 2025. Now its October 2026, and I'm returning to the version that started this whole journey for me: Bloatynosy 0.85

I've taken Bloatynosy in a lot of directions since then. New names, new interfaces, new ideas. Some of those experiments were fun, but I kept moving further away from what made the original special: open the app, see whats going on with Windows, and decide for yourself what stays.

Honestly, I should never have let that idea go.

Bloatynosy Origin is my return to it. This is the successor to 0.85 that I wanted to build: familiar in spirit, rebuilt for Windows 11, and focused on making debloating feel simple again.

What’s new

  • A clearer way through. Check your PC, review the results, select what you want, and apply the changes.
  • A Windows 11-inspired interface. A quiet, setup-style layout keeps the results in focus. Search the results tree, expand a category, and see exactly what you’re selecting.
  • Windows settings you can put back. Available changes and already applied settings appear separately. You can select supported settings to restore their defaults.
  • Installed-app detection. Bloatynosy separates bloatware candidates, personal choices, and protected Windows components. Apps are never selected for removal automatically, and uninstalling requires confirmation.
  • Progress you can follow. Scanning and applying changes show what the app is working on, followed by a report of what succeeded.
  • Details when you want them. Select an entry for more context without cluttering the main view.
  • Optional AI explanations. Enable the feature, add your own API key, and ask about a selected setting or app. Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenAI-compatible providers are supported. AI stays off until you turn it on.

I didnt want to recreate every screen and feature Bloatynosy has ever had. I wanted to get back to the part that mattered: a small app that gives you a clear view of your Windows PC and lets you make the call.

The funny thing is, this build has been sitting in my “ready to publish” folder for eight or nine days. I just never got around to pressing the button. So here it is

It still needs an app icon and a little polish here and there. Thats coming. I didnt want to leave Bloatynosy in that folder any longer

The king is back. This time, he came home.
