Additions and improvements

• Add cache-to-default-branch-only to export cache-to caches only from the pipeline’s default branch. Other branches can still read cache-from caches. This works with Compose builds and Bake and defaults to false, preserving existing behavior. When enabled, tag builds and builds with an unknown default branch also skip cache exports. #538
• Include Compose’s last error line in captured build and dependency-start failure messages when job error capture is enabled. Command exit statuses are preserved, and captured errors do not include docker compose run output. #539

Job error capture is experimental and currently enabled only for Buildkite’s own pipelines. Captured errors now use buildkite.docker_compose_build_failed, buildkite.docker_compose_service_start_failed, and buildkite.docker_compose_run_failed, without a context object. Compose uses plain progress output while stderr is copied for error capture.

Maintenance

• Update the test image to buildkite/plugin-tester:v5.0.0 and the CI plugin linter to v4.1.0.
• Update pipeline examples for this release.
