ciao 1.12.0 released with uptime history, response times, absolute check URLs in webhooks and Docker images on GHCR

  • 3197618 Push release candidates to GHCR
  • 82fdbf2 Build Docker images natively and publish them to GHCR as well
  • c27aff9 Speed up Docker image builds
  • fc4665b Record the response time of each check
  • cb76996 Load the check from the database on every scheduled run
  • 106e9d0 Show uptime and 30-day history per check
  • b0987c7 Add CIAO_BASE_URL and check_absolute_url placeholder

Uptime: The check page shows the uptime for the last 24 hours, 7 and 30 days, and a bar per day for the last 30 days. It is calculated from the existing status changes, so existing installs get their history right away. The JSON API includes it as "uptime": {"24h", "7d", "30d"}.

Response time: The duration of each check's HTTP request is stored, shown on the check page and included in the JSON API as response_time (seconds). With PROMETHEUS_ENABLED=true it is exposed as ciao_check_response_time_seconds{id, name}. The new column is added by db:migrate, which the container runs at startup.

Webhooks: The new __check_absolute_url__ placeholder gives a full link to the check when CIAO_BASE_URL is set (e.g. https://ciao.example.com). Without it, it falls back to the relative path. __check_url__ is unchanged.

Fix: Scheduled jobs kept the check from the time they were created. After a rename, notifications used the old name. After "Check now" on the admin page, a status change could be notified twice or a recovery could be missed. The jobs now load the check from the database on every run.

Docker: Images are now also published to ghcr.io/brotandgames/ciao (1.12.0 and latest), in addition to Docker Hub. Release candidates are published only to GHCR.

Note: linux/arm/v7 images are no longer built. Only linux/amd64 and linux/arm64 are available.

Helm chart: 2.2.0 deploys ciao 1.12.0.

helm upgrade --install --namespace ciao --create-namespace ciao oci://ghcr.io/brotandgames/charts/ciao --version 2.2.0
