Ghost FTP 0.95.46 — transfer reliability (development Preview)
Public predecessor: v0.95.45. Keep its tag immutable; this file does not announce or publish a new release.
Windows and Linux desktop scope
- Dynamic transfer parallelism 1/4/8/16/32: cancel stale shrink debt without aborting running transfers.
- S3-compatible object stores (Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, GCS via object_store): refuse incomplete multipart sources and abort on failure. Cloud account verification remains pending.
- Box upload: use streaming multipart body rather than allocating the entire source file in RAM.
- Google Drive: bounded 32 MiB legacy buffered upload; larger uploads fail safely pending verified resumable API implementation.
- Shopify, HubSpot and Dynamics: bounded whole-file API upload paths now fail safely rather than allocating multi-GiB inputs in memory.
- OneDrive session chunks: reject source truncation and short Content-Range.
- No TLS downgrades, SSH host-key bypass, plaintext secrets, or destructive user-data migrations.
Acceptance matrix (unverified until evidence exists)
- All six CI workflows green at the exact final PR SHA, then at the merged-main SHA.
- Live account tests for AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Google Cloud Storage, Nextcloud/WebDAV, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box and supported providers.
- 10,000 small files and >4 GiB upload/download roundtrip SHA-256 integrity at 1/4/8/16/32 concurrency on real targets.
- Network disconnect/reconnect, 429/5xx, TLS failure, SFTP changed host-key, short writes, disk-full, conflict races.
- Reproducible wall-clock throughput, RSS/peak memory, CPU time and UI event latency on specified hardware; matched FileZilla runs on identical server/network only.
- Upgrader, installer, existing user profiles, credentials and backups preserved.
Existing public release or CI success from an earlier SHA must not be mistaken for these tests.
