Changes

• Keep README and active documentation imagery byte-identical to the newest published Ghost FTP release through CI provenance checks.
• Consolidate duplicate Windows/Linux Tauri build work into one canonical production native build.
• Keep Windows native-window QA evidence in that canonical build and package it with releases.
• Remove the obsolete duplicate native build workflow and stale preview/RC workflow references.
• Remove hard-coded legacy v2.1.1-Preview source-package naming from the active build path.
• Fix version synchronization so ignored release-note paths do not break automated metadata commits.
• Refresh and commit the canonical Cargo.lock atomically with version metadata changes.
• Keep exact-SHA quality, protocol E2E, Android and Windows hardening around the canonical native build.
• Correct active documentation after publication of 0.17.0.

Publication requirements

The exact source intended for v0.18.0 must pass all active required gates. The canonical release workflow must verify normalized Windows, Linux, Android, source, documentation, native-QA and SHA-256 assets before publication.

Stable status

0.18.0 remains part of the pre-1.0 development train. Stable/FINAL promotion remains subject to target-OS lifecycle, visual, security, accessibility and signing acceptance.
