Ghost FTP 0.0.15
More Than Transfer. Total Control.
This release carries the verified Ghost FTP 0.0.15 Windows New Connection password-reveal behavior, secure Site Manager profile exchange and connection testing, Preferences reference-rail parity, interaction polish and exact-source stability work across the active Windows, Linux and Android product surfaces while preserving the existing Go transfer engine, strict security boundaries, no-telemetry policy and exact-source release identity from 7e2887d.
Active platforms:
- Windows
- Linux
- Android
Trust/signing boundary for this no-key distribution:
- Windows Setup and Portable are intentionally unsigned and may show Windows SmartScreen / Unknown Publisher warnings.
- Android is installable and signed with a temporary one-run compatibility certificate because the protected production publisher identity is not configured. A later permanently signed build may require reinstalling instead of an in-place update.
- Linux artifacts are exact-source builds verified by the release workflow and SHA-256 checksums.
- This distribution does not claim Authenticode or permanent Android publisher signing.
Highlights:
- real native New Connection password reveal with passwords masked by default;
- secure credential-free Site Manager import/export and fresh host-key trust after import;
- real Site Manager connection testing and non-overlapping footer actions;
- Preferences navigation aligned to the supplied reference ordering;
- Integrations and Shortcuts remain explicitly disabled until real backend semantics exist;
- exact-source Windows, Linux and Android runtime evidence passed before publication.
Product/security boundaries remain unchanged:
- no telemetry, analytics or advertising;
- strict FTPS certificate/hostname validation;
- strict desktop SFTP host-key trust;
- Android SFTP remains hidden until its strict host-key verification boundary exists;
- browser extensions and macOS remain retired.
