Changes

• Preserves Home feed state while navigating between Home, Search, Subscriptions, Inbox and Profile.
• Keeps the selected navigation button synchronized with the visible Activity, including Back navigation and reused Activities.
• Honors the Show bottom navigation preference across every destination.
• Preserves and restores the unread Inbox badge across Activities and cold starts.
• Removes visible Activity transition animations so the bottom-navigation row appears static.

User impact

Bottom navigation now behaves as one consistent five-destination surface. Returning to an existing screen no longer leaves another destination highlighted, Home is not unnecessarily refreshed, Back returns to the preserved caller, visibility preferences remain effective, and the unread Inbox indicator survives process restarts.

Validated manually in Boost DEV on a Pixel 6 running Android 17, including cold starts, reused Activities, Back navigation and Android three-button navigation.
