Version 2.0
- UI redesign to declutter the main program window.
- Ping configurations are now added and edited via the
Filemenu >Configurationoption, or by clicking theEditbutton in the main program window. - It is now much easier to enter multiple hostnames / IPs into one ping configuration, due to having a multi-line text box with a great deal more space.
- Ping configurations are now saved and loaded atomically in a separate file from normal program settings, so configurations won't be lost if you run multiple instances of PingTracer simultaneously. Migration is automatic if you ran PingTracer 1.x before.
- Text output now goes into the
AppData/Roaming/PingTracer/Logsdirectory and logs from the current session can be viewed viaTools>Log Messages(current session log no longer clutters the main program window). - Graph space is now more evenly distributed, so the last graph in a list should not be allocated significantly more height than others.
- The name of the loaded configuration is now shown in the main window's title bar, helping with process/window identification in the taskbar and elsewhere.
Beta Quality
Release 2.0 should be considered beta-quality. It has not received as extensive of testing as 1.19.1.
