v0.77.0 rebuilds the Fleet page's Agent Comms as an automatic channel cockpit: traffic is read straight from the family's session logs and every message opens its full record inline. It also lands a context performance pass — switching to the Context tab on a long session drops from 4.97s to 0.44s, and a closed /context modal no longer reads session details at all.
Features
-
Agent Comms is now an automatic channel cockpit
- Reads every family session log automatically from the existing detail ledger — the manual scan and refresh step is gone. Relays, mailbox deliveries, and settlement notices group into per-pair channels with directional counts and last-activity time, and the viewed session's channels lead.
- Clicking a message opens the full record inline below it as an accordion: the recipient log and sequence, a notice when the runtime wrote the settlement rather than the child, the complete closing report, its structured result, the diagnostic tail, and participant cards that filter to that agent, open its chat in the sidebar, or open the whole view.
- Names both parties for teams, forks, and plain subagents — roster names outrank a sender's framing line, attested names name parties outside the roster and projection, and session titles or short ids replace raw UUIDs.
- Kind chips (messages / reports) with live counts, text search across parties and bodies, and a newest/oldest toggle narrow the timeline; the shared agent pick from the graph or member board re-scopes the whole hub. Clipped excerpts and older unloaded messages are disclosed instead of silently truncated.
- Settlement notices split into summary, closing report, structured result, and diagnostic. The host lifts the excerpt caps for one opened message (80 messages / 400 chars → 120 / 24k) while keeping the full-detail state bounded, and a stale full read can no longer land.
-
Fleet tasks keep their header and reveal what you open — the owner/status group header stays pinned at the top of the task list while rows scroll underneath; opening a task brings its card to the front and aligns the row under that header, with the same 35px scroll padding for native focus reveals. The board's height cap now measures the network card's natural stage height, so a growing task card can no longer feed its own cap.
Performance
- Context tab switching on a long session: 4.97s → 0.44s — the composer and width-handle hides no longer use a
:has(.lc-root)ancestor test, whose invalidation rescanned the whole transcript on every mutation. A counteddata-lc-surface/data-lc-modalmarker on the shared conversation scroller keys the CSS instead; the previous 1.11s + 0.89s long tasks are gone. - A closed
/contextmodal no longer reads session details — the modal body and its detail subscription mount only while open, removing the idle 560 KB–1 MB detail fetch from every chat page load (measured on 451- and 987-step sessions). Reopening the modal still uses the page-lifetime cached payload, so it stays instant.
Fixes
- The task group header stays visible while scrolling — the sticky head folds its group gap into itself and opened rows align below the measured head.
- Task cards no longer grow under their own cap and opened tasks open on-screen — the cap measures the stage top plus its visible height, never the scrolled canvas offset or the card's stretched height.
Changes
- Both READMEs document the automatic comms hub, its record details, and the participant actions, with a refreshed Fleet overview and a comms close-up; the retired channel sparkline is gone from the docs as well.
docs/compatibility.mdrecords the settlement split: the fixed English summaries and theIts closing message:/Structured result:markers are recognized, an unmarked diagnostic tail stays inside the closing report, and an unknown future summary renders raw.
