What's New

This release turns the trend Overview on automatically for long sessions, makes Context Insights numbers respect the picked date range, and remembers the range you pick. It also tightens the File Activity layout and fixes DeepSeek pricing, the balance capsule, and large agent families.

Features

• Context trend: Overview opens automatically at 200+ steps

  • New Trend Chart · Auto Overview preference: 100 / 200 / 300 steps or Off, default 200. Once a session reaches the threshold, the trend switches to its Overview ribbon and clears DNA/Adaptive.
  • Fires once per session, so toggling it off sticks.
  • The ribbon is now interactive too: hover a band to trace its category across the whole log, click to pin the step and open that category in the Context browser.

• Context Insights: range-accurate accounting (#172)

  • A step's settlement, tool run, and wall time now book on the day its request was sent, so a cross-midnight step stays on its start day; a turn books once, on its first settlement's day.
  • The KPI band, composition split, session admission, and heatmap all fold the same daily ledger. The KPI gains tool runs and active time.
  • The heatmap gains a Tokens metric and now defaults to it; Sessions remains the alternate.
  • Cached activity cold-refolds on upgrade (contextActivity stateVersion 5). The ledger retains 400 days, and Timing Stats stays session-lifetime and is labeled so.

• Context Insights: remembered range (#180)

  • New Default range preference: Today / Last 7 days / Last 30 days / All, default Last 30 days.
  • Picking a preset on the page writes it back as the default when the settings form is writable; a read-only form keeps the pick for the visit.

• File Activity: cleaner layout
  • The title row now holds the file tally, line deltas, and kind chips; search and sort move to the row below, and the separate scope line is gone.
  • Expanded ops hold their values and the Context Browser's step stamp on the right edge. The collapsed row's error dot is removed, the All chip is blue, and narrow cards wrap cleanly.

Fixes and changes

• Agent network draws the whole family (#177) — the 40-card cap is gone; the card scrolls at 560px with Show all / Show less, and lineage hover stays fast on large families.
• DeepSeek peak pricing corrected (#178) — models.dev lists its off-peak rates; Beijing peak windows (Mon–Fri 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00) bill at 2×, weekends off-peak. Holidays are not modeled.
• Balance capsule fixed (#176) — only DeepSeek platform rows supply the key, the projection is read redacted, and the endpoint uses only its origin, so path-carrying base URLs no longer break /user/balance.
• Timing card keeps its zero residual slot — the card no longer changes height at every step boundary.
• dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 supported — added to the compat matrix and CI tag fetch.
• READMEs, the File Activity screenshot, and unused i18n keys are updated.
