- Quieter startups: the projection warm-up runs on demand, and legacy sessions no longer warn per session. The contextActivity/contextTimeline warm-up used to cold-read the whole session corpus at every startup, and a legacy log the running harness refuses to migrate (e.g. a v0 artifact carrying events outside the released migration surface) re-attempted and re-warned per session on every boot — one reporter measured 115 warn lines (~60 KB) per start (#75). The pass now runs once per host process, summoned the first time the Context Insights panel opens through an authenticated fetch route; under that sustained read pressure the host had also been stalling its own client handshake, leaving the workspace sidebar to mount without its session rows until a restart — that goes away too.
- A migration-refused log is permanent and source-side (the artifact is left unchanged): its per-session detail drops to debug, and the pass ends with one summary info line — an unmigratable corpus costs one line per process, not one warn per session per boot.
- Unexpected per-session failures keep their own warn, now proof against hostile error objects whose
toStringthrows. - A deployment whose client cannot mount the trigger route (no connection service, no exact-route registry) simply never arms the pass — it degrades to the per-session refold on the session's next activity, the same as pre-warm-up upgrades. See the compatibility page for the full deployment matrix.
