- Context statistics no longer freeze mid-session on nonconforming provider usage — fixes #44, where a mis-accounting gateway's usage figures (fractional token counts, or
cached_tokensaboveprompt_tokensdriving the disjoint uncached input below zero) failed the projection's strict integer gates on every later delivery: the Context tab froze at the first bad step (round 26 step 5 of 97) and the cost estimate stopped growing while the agent kept running. The fold now reads every usage bucket through a deep billed-count normalization — finite numbers and numeric strings accepted, fractions rounded, negatives clamped to 0, garbage read as absent — so request records and the session-cost totals stay complete and schema-valid no matter what the provider reports.- The durable log always held every step: the
stateVersionbump makes each session's first cold read refold from the log, restoring the steps the frozen feed never showed (cost/timing totals were never trimmed, so the money figure covers the complete session again). - Semantic change, declared: any readable bucket is now a billing sample (official token-meter parity) — an output-only usage object bills prompt 0 with its output split, where the previous shallow guard dropped the sample whole.
- Upgrade- and rollback-safe: mismatched cached rows are discarded and refolded on both directions; no shape change, no client changes.
- New real-registry probes pin the freeze, the recovery, and the dsh-side containment gap (a poisoned upstream projection unit starves every unit registered after it) across all four supported baselines.
