What's Changed in v8.0.0-beta.5
✨ Enhancements
- Search Menu Item: Added a Search option with a magnifying glass icon at the top of the three-dot menu to trigger the search panel (
Cmd/Ctrl + F), automatically disabled when the active page is empty. - Streamlined Menu Layout: Renamed menu items to Search, Copy page, Print, Import, and Export, and moved Import and Export into a dedicated section shown only in the desktop app.
- Search Input Focus: Improved focus handling so the search input is immediately focused and selected when opened from the menu or via shortcut, and prevented closing panels/dialogs from stealing focus while the search panel is open.
📚 Documentation & CI
- Automated Wiki Publishing: Added a GitHub Actions workflow (
wiki.yml) to automatically generate and publish the GitHub Wiki on release. - Comprehensive Wiki Updates: Expanded the Wiki documentation to cover all v8 features, settings, and keyboard shortcuts.
